MALTA GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME
(MGSS) – Undergraduate (2010) The Director for Lifelong Learning notifies the general public that the 2010 call for the Malta Government Scholarship Scheme – MGSS – Undergraduate, has been launched. The scheme offers financial assistance to those who wish to pursue studies at first degree (MQF Level 6). For more details, visit website http://www.education.gov.mt/mgss_ug.htm. MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS Scholarships in the Federal Republic of Germany 2011/2012 (for Maltese Citizens only) The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is offering scholarships covering the period of the academic year 2011/2012. The offer comprises of the following (please see attachments for further information): 1. Research Grants for Doctoral Candidates and Young Academics and Scientists 2. Research stays for University Academics and Scientists 3. Re-invitation Programme for Former Scholarship Holders 4. Study Scholarships for Graduates of All Disciplines ** 5. Scholarships for Artists and Architects: A: Study Scholarships Arts, Music, Architecture Scholarships for Artists and Architects: B: Study Visits for Academics 6. Study Visits/Study Seminars and Practicals in Germany by Groups of Foreign Students 7. University Summer Courses offered in Germany for Foreign Students and Graduates 8. Intensive Language Courses in Germany for Foreign Students and Graduates 9. Practical Traineeships for Foreign Students of Natural and Technical Sciences, Agriculture and Forestry (IAESTE) It is essential that candidates first obtain the necessary information, regarding their chosen field of study and are expected to have made steps towards securing acceptance from an academic supervisor at the German host institution at the time of application. Candidates are to visit the DAAD-Lektor either during his consultation hour or by making and appointment with him (preferably via his e-mail) before applying.
