The appointee will be required to assist in the technical section of
the laboratories as specified in the “Further Information” sheet
obtainable on request, and as may be required by the University.
2. Applicants should possess suitable qualifications as specified in
the “Further Information” sheet.
3. The salary attached to the post will be within the following
range:
Laboratory Officer I: €11,817 rising by annual increments of €317 up
to a maximum of €13,718. On completion of two years service in this
grade, the appointee will on satisfactory performance be entitled to
move on to the next salary band with annual increments of €335 up to
a maximum of €14,570. After a further period of two years, the
appointee will on satisfactory performance be entitled to move on to
the next band with annual increments of €354 up to a maximum of
€15,472.
Laboratory Officer II: €14,181 rising by annual increments of €375
up to €16,431. On completion of five years service in this grade,
the appointee will, on satisfactory performance, be entitled to move
on the next salary band with annual increments of €408 up to a
maximum of €17,515. After a further period of two years, the
appointee will on satisfactory performance be entitled to move on to
the next band with annual increments of €447 up to a maximum of
€18,712.
Laboratory Officer III: €18,206 rising by annual increments of €531
up to €21,393.
